7. Travel Bookings
7.1 Booking Process
Bookings may be initiated through the Website’s enquiry form, by email, by phone, or via WhatsApp. Upon receiving your enquiry, our travel consultants will share a customized itinerary and quotation based on your preferences.
7.2 Booking Requests
A Booking Request is not binding on the Company until it is formally accepted and a Booking Confirmation is issued in writing.
7.3 Booking Confirmation
A Booking is considered confirmed only after: (a) the Customer has agreed to the final itinerary and pricing, (b) the required advance payment has been received, and (c) the Company has issued a written Booking Confirmation via email or WhatsApp.
7.4 Availability
All Services are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Hotel rooms, flight seats, train berths, and vehicle availability may change between the time of quotation and the time of payment.
7.5 Quotation Validity
Quotations issued by On Travel are valid for the period specified in the quotation document, typically 48 to 72 hours, unless otherwise stated. Quotations not confirmed within the validity period are subject to re-verification of pricing and availability.
7.6 Confirmation Emails
All official Booking Confirmations, vouchers, and itinerary documents will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer at the time of Booking. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify all details in the confirmation and report discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt.
8. Pricing Policy
8.1 Currency
All prices displayed on the Website or shared in quotations are in Indian Rupees (INR), unless otherwise specified for international packages.
8.2 Taxes, GST, and Government Charges
All applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), are charged in accordance with prevailing Government of India rules. Any government-imposed fees, tourism levies, or statutory charges introduced after Booking Confirmation will be passed on to the Customer.
8.3 Dynamic and Seasonal Pricing
Pricing for hotels, flights, and certain Services may fluctuate based on demand, season, and Supplier policies. Peak season, festival period, and long-weekend pricing may differ from standard rates.
8.4 Price Changes
Prices quoted are subject to change until full payment is received and a Booking Confirmation is issued. Once confirmed and paid in full, the quoted price is locked, except in cases of Force Majeure, government tax revisions, or Supplier-imposed surcharges beyond the Company’s control.
8.5 Quotation Expiry
An unconfirmed quotation automatically expires at the end of its stated validity period, and Customers must request a fresh quotation thereafter.
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Advance Payment
A minimum advance payment (typically 25% to 50% of the total package cost, depending on the package type) is required to confirm a Booking. The exact percentage will be communicated at the time of quotation.
9.2 Balance Payment
The balance payment must be cleared as per the schedule communicated in the Booking Confirmation, typically before the commencement of travel or as specified for specific Suppliers (such as certain hotels requiring full prepayment).
9.3 Payment Deadlines
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in automatic cancellation of the Booking, forfeiture of the advance amount, and loss of confirmed inventory (hotel rooms, flights, vehicles).
9.4 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments through:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Debit and Credit Cards
- Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS
- Net Banking
- Online Payment Gateways integrated with the Website
All online transactions are processed through secure, RBI-compliant payment gateway partners.
9.5 Late Payments
Late payments may attract revised pricing due to inventory changes and, where applicable, a late payment surcharge as communicated by the Company.
9.6 Payment Failure
In the event of payment failure due to technical issues, the Customer must notify On Travel immediately. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by banking or payment gateway failures beyond its control.
9.7 Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution with On Travel is considered a breach of these Terms and may result in legal action to recover amounts due, along with associated costs.
10. Cancellation Policy
For full details, please also refer to our dedicated Cancellation Policy page.
10.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@ontravel.in. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the number of days remaining before the travel date, as outlined in the table below (illustrative structure; exact slabs will be confirmed per package):
| Cancellation Timing | Cancellation Charges |
|---|---|
| 30+ days before travel | 10–15% of total package cost |
| 15–29 days before travel | 25–50% of total package cost |
| 7–14 days before travel | 50–75% of total package cost |
| Less than 7 days / No-show | 100% of total package cost |
10.2 Supplier-Initiated Cancellation
Where a Supplier (hotel, airline, transport operator) cancels a service due to their own operational reasons, On Travel will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable alternative or process a refund of the amount recovered from the Supplier.
10.3 Company-Initiated Cancellation
On Travel reserves the right to cancel a Booking in cases of Force Majeure, non-payment, suspected fraud, or Supplier unavailability. In such cases, the Customer will be offered an alternative package or a refund as per Section 11.
10.4 Peak Season Rules
Bookings made during peak season, festivals, or long weekends may be subject to stricter, non-refundable cancellation terms as specified by individual Suppliers at the time of Booking.
10.5 Hotel- and Flight-Specific Rules
Certain hotels and airlines operate strict non-refundable or non-amendable fare/rate rules. Where such rules apply, they will be communicated at the time of Booking and will override the standard cancellation slabs above.
10.6 Processing Fees
A non-refundable processing/service fee may be deducted from all cancellations to cover administrative costs, regardless of the cancellation timing.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any vaccinations required for domestic or international travel, in accordance with prevailing government and health authority guidelines.
14.3 Special Assistance, Senior Citizens, Pregnancy, and Children

On Travel cannot guarantee accessibility features not confirmed in advance with the relevant Supplier.
14.4 Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency during travel, the Customer is responsible for related medical costs unless covered under a separate travel insurance policy. On Travel will provide reasonable assistance in coordinating emergency support.
15. Travel Insurance
On Travel strongly recommends that all Customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies and hospitalization
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
- Emergency medical evacuation
On Travel does not itself provide insurance coverage and is not responsible for losses that would have been covered by an insurance policy the Customer chose not to purchase.
16. Hotels & Accommodation
- Check-in / Check-out: Standard hotel check-in and check-out times apply as per each property’s policy (typically 1400 hrs check-in and 1200 hrs check-out), unless early check-in or late check-out has been separately confirmed.

- Damages: Customers are liable for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay, payable directly to the hotel.

Private vehicles are provided with a specified kilometre and hour allowance as per the itinerary. Usage beyond the allotted limit will attract additional charges payable directly to the transport Supplier or through On Travel.
17.3 Driver Rules
Drivers are required to follow safe driving practices and applicable traffic laws. Requests for route deviations beyond the confirmed itinerary are subject to driver discretion and may involve extra charges.
17.4 Delays and Missed Connections
On Travel is not liable for delays, missed connections, or schedule changes caused by airlines, railways, traffic conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to assist Customers in such situations.

Each Supplier operates under its own terms and conditions and bears primary responsibility for the quality and delivery of the specific service it provides. On Travel will assist Customers in raising and escalating concerns with Suppliers but is not the guarantor of Supplier performance.
