This 5-day itinerary links Kerala's three favourite stops in one smooth loop. You drive from Kochi into the Western Ghats to Munnar, where a full sightseeing day covers tea gardens, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point.
Next, Thekkady welcomes you with the scent of cardamom and pepper; in the evening you'll watch a traditional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance. From the hills you head down to Alleppey, where palm-fringed canals and paddy fields make for a peaceful backwater stay. The trip ends with your transfer back to Kochi.

Your day-by-day itinerary
01Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Kochi – Drive to Munnar
Meet your driver at Kochi and drive up to Munnar, stopping at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in and relax. Overnight in Munnar.
02Day 2: Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Visit Eravikulam National Park, the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake. Overnight in Munnar.
03Day 3: Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady – Cultural Show
Drive through spice plantations to Thekkady. In the evening watch a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance. Overnight in Thekkady.
04Day 4: Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey Backwaters
Head down to Alleppey and enjoy the backwaters, coconut groves and lakeside sunset. Overnight in Alleppey.
05Day 5: Day 5: Alleppey to Kochi – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Kochi airport or railway station for your journey home.
