Adi Kailash, known as Chhota Kailash, and Om Parvat, where snow forms the sacred 'Om' on the mountain face, are among the most revered sights in the Kumaon Himalaya. This yatra starts with an early pickup from Kathgodam and the drive to Pithoragarh.
You then follow the Kali river past Dharchula to Gunji village near the Tibet and Nepal borders. From Gunji you drive up to Jolingkong at 4,770 m for darshan of Adi Kailash and Parvati Kund, and the next day to Nabidhang for views of Om Parvat. On the way back you visit Patal Bhuvaneshwar, a limestone cave temple with legends of Lord Shiva, before returning to Kathgodam.

01Day 1: Day 1: Kathgodam to Pithoragarh
Early pickup at Kathgodam and drive to Pithoragarh. Overnight in Pithoragarh.
02Day 2: Day 2: Pithoragarh to Gunji via Dharchula
Drive along the Kali river to Gunji. Overnight in Gunji homestay.
03Day 3: Day 3: Adi Kailash Darshan
Drive to Jolingkong for Adi Kailash and Parvati Kund, then return to Gunji. Overnight in Gunji.
04Day 4: Day 4: Om Parvat – Back to Dharchula
Drive to Nabidhang for Om Parvat views, then descend to Dharchula. Overnight in Dharchula.
05Day 5: Day 5: Dharchula to Patal Bhuvaneshwar
Drive to Patal Bhuvaneshwar and visit the cave temple. Overnight nearby.
06Day 6: Day 6: Return to Kathgodam
Drive back to Kathgodam for your onward journey.
