Spend the holidays in the snow-dusted hills of Manali. After an overnight Volvo from Delhi you check in and visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisht and the festive Mall Road.
The next day is for the snow: Solang Valley and, road permitting, the Atal Tunnel to Sissu (Rohtang Pass is usually closed in winter, so a nearby snow point is used). Then you head into Parvati Valley to see Kasol and the hot springs of Manikaran. On the last day you stop in Kullu for a shawl factory and optional rafting before the overnight bus back to Delhi.
