Spend the end of the year somewhere special with this Himachal expedition. An overnight Volvo takes you to McLeodganj for monasteries, Bhagsu waterfall and café hopping. Then you move to Bir, where you camp under the stars and can paraglide over the Kangra valley in the morning.
The trip continues into Parvati Valley with river rafting on the way to Kasol. You walk to Chalal village, visit Manikaran Gurudwara and its hot springs, then trek to Rudranag for a night of camping beside the waterfall. After trekking down to Barshaini you head to Manali, where a free day is followed by the New Year's Eve celebration. The last day is for shopping before the bus back to Delhi.

Your day-by-day itinerary
01Day 1: Day 1: Depart Delhi by Overnight Volvo
Board the evening Volvo to Dharamshala. Overnight on the bus.
02Day 2: Day 2: McLeodganj Sightseeing and Cafés
Reach McLeodganj and visit the Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu waterfall and local cafés. Overnight in McLeodganj.
03Day 3: Day 3: McLeodganj to Bir – Camping
Drive to Bir and see the Tibetan colony and monasteries. Night in camps. Overnight at Bir.
04Day 4: Day 4: Paragliding – Rafting – Arrive in Kasol
Optional paragliding at Bir, then drive towards Parvati Valley with optional river rafting on the way. Overnight in Kasol.
05Day 5: Day 5: Chalal Village and Manikaran
Walk to Chalal village along the river, visit Manikaran Gurudwara and the hot springs, and enjoy Kasol's cafés. Overnight in Kasol.
06Day 6: Day 6: Trek to Rudranag
Trek through pine forests to Rudranag waterfall and temple. Overnight camping at Rudranag.
07Day 7: Day 7: Trek Down to Barshaini – Drive to Manali
Trek back to Barshaini and drive to Manali. Overnight in Manali.
08Day 8: Day 8: Manali at Leisure – New Year Celebration
Explore Manali at your own pace, then celebrate New Year's Eve with music and dinner. Overnight in Manali.
09Day 9: Day 9: Shopping and Departure for Delhi
Shop at Mall Road and Old Manali, then board the evening Volvo to Delhi.
10Day 10: Day 10: Arrive in Delhi
Reach Delhi in the morning. Trip ends.
