A short break into Rajasthan's desert country, perfect for a long weekend. You start in Jodhpur with Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's most impressive forts, and the blue-painted lanes below it.
The next day you drive west to Jaisalmer and head straight to the Sam dunes for a camel ride at sunset and an evening of Rajasthani music and dance. Day three is for the Golden City itself – Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. On the last day you return to Jodhpur for your onward journey.

01Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Jodhpur – The Blue City
Arrive in Jodhpur and visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the clock tower market. Overnight in Jodhpur.
02Day 2: Day 2: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer – Sand Dunes
Drive to Jaisalmer and continue to the Sam dunes for a sunset camel ride and cultural evening. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
03Day 3: Day 3: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Explore Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
04Day 4: Day 4: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur – Departure
Drive back to Jodhpur for your train or flight home.
