This Ladakh circuit includes two of its most beautiful lakes and a visit to a border village few tourists reach. After a rest day in Leh, you explore Sham Valley's Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Sangam, plus Shanti Stupa and the Hall of Fame.

Crossing Khardung La you reach Nubra Valley and take a day trip to Turtuk to taste local apricots and walnuts. Then you follow the Shyok to Pangong Tso, and continue along the remote Changthang plateau to the deep-blue Tso Moriri. The return to Leh passes the hot springs of Chumathang, with an evening free in Leh market.

01Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Leh – Acclimatise

Arrive at Leh airport and rest. Overnight in Leh.

02Day 2: Day 2: Sham Valley and Leh Sightseeing

Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib, Sangam, Shanti Stupa and Hall of Fame. Overnight in Leh.

03Day 3: Day 3: Leh to Nubra via Khardung La

Cross Khardung La to Nubra. Overnight in Nubra.

04Day 4: Day 4: Turtuk Day Trip

Visit Turtuk village for apricots and walnuts. Overnight in Nubra.

05Day 5: Day 5: Nubra to Pangong

Drive along the Shyok to Pangong Tso. Overnight at Pangong.

06Day 6: Day 6: Pangong to Tso Moriri

Cross the Changthang plateau to Tso Moriri. Overnight at Tso Moriri.

07Day 7: Day 7: Tso Moriri to Leh via Chumathang

Stop at the hot springs on the way back. Evening in Leh market. Overnight in Leh.

08Day 8: Day 8: Fly Back Home

Transfer to Leh airport.
