This escape adds a night in Kochi to Kerala's classic circuit. You begin with Fort Kochi's Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, the Dutch Palace and Jew Town, and enjoy the city's café culture.

From Kochi you head into the Western Ghats to Munnar for two nights of tea gardens, waterfalls and viewpoints. Next is Thekkady, with spice plantations and Periyar Lake. The final stop is Alleppey's backwaters, where palm-lined canals make for a peaceful last night before your drop.

Head to Alleppey and enjoy the backwaters. Overnight in Alleppey.
