This short Uttarakhand break combines spirituality, adventure and hill-station charm. You leave Delhi in the morning and reach Rishikesh in time for the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat or Parmarth Niketan.

The next day you explore Rishikesh – Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, the Beatles Ashram and riverside cafés. On day three you raft the rapids of the Ganges before driving up to Mussoorie, the Queen of the Hills, for an evening on Mall Road. On the way back to Delhi you stop at Kempty Falls.

Your day-by-day itinerary

01Day 1: Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh – Ganga Aarti

Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh. Evening Ganga Aarti on the riverbank. Overnight in Rishikesh.

02Day 2: Day 2: Rishikesh Sightseeing

Visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, the Beatles Ashram and local temples and cafés. Overnight in Rishikesh.

03Day 3: Day 3: Rafting – Drive to Mussoorie

White-water rafting on the Ganges in the morning, then drive to Mussoorie. Evening on Mall Road. Overnight in Mussoorie.

04Day 4: Day 4: Kempty Falls – Return to Delhi

Visit Kempty Falls and drive back to Delhi.
