A short and well-balanced Kashmir holiday for first-time visitors. You can arrive by train at Udhampur or fly into Srinagar, where your trip begins with a welcome drink.
The next day is spent in Gulmarg, the 'meadow of flowers', with the option of the famous Gondola. Back in Srinagar you explore the Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple area and the old city, and enjoy a one-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake. The trip continues to Pahalgam for its riverside scenery before your return to Srinagar for departure.

Your day-by-day itinerary
01Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Udhampur or Srinagar
Get picked up at Udhampur railway station or Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel in Srinagar. Welcome drink and evening at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
02Day 2: Day 2: Day Trip to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg to enjoy the meadows and the optional Gondola ride. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight in Srinagar.
03Day 3: Day 3: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi and the Hazratbal shrine, followed by a one-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
04Day 4: Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam via Pampore's saffron fields and Avantipur ruins. Explore Betaab and Aru valleys by local cab (own cost). Overnight in Pahalgam.
05Day 5: Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar – Departure
Drive back to Srinagar for your drop at the airport.
