01Day 1: Arrival in Cochin – Drive to Munnar | Into the Tea Country
Welcome to Kerala! Upon your arrival at Cochin Railway Station or Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your OnTravel executive. Begin your scenic drive to the charming hill station of Munnar, known for its endless tea gardens and misty landscapes. En route, stop to admire the seasonal Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls – perfect photo stops surrounded by lush greenery. Arrive in Munnar and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace.
02Day 2: Full Day Munnar Sightseeing | Nature’s Delight
Start your morning with a hearty breakfast before heading out to discover Munnar’s natural beauty. Today’s tour includes:
Pothamedu Viewpoint – for panoramic valley views
Mattupetty Dam & Kundala Dam – scenic spots perfect for boating
Echo Point – known for its unique echo phenomenon
Eravikulam National Park – home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr
Tea Museum – discover the heritage of tea production in Munnar You can also explore local markets for souvenirs like spices, tea, and handcrafted goods. Return to your hotel by evening.
03Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady | Wildlife & Wilderness
After breakfast, check out and journey through the winding roads to Thekkady, a nature lover’s paradise nestled in the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, head to Periyar Lake, where you can enjoy a serene boat ride. If lucky, spot wildlife like elephants, deer, and exotic birds. Optionally, you can enjoy a jungle safari in Periyar National Park or watch a cultural show (Kathakali/Kalaripayattu). Return to your hotel for a peaceful night’s stay.
04Day 4: Departure from Thekkady to Cochin | Until We Meet Again
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Cochin. We’ll drop you at the airport or railway station for your onward journey, leaving you with cherished memories from your Kerala holiday with OnTravel
