This short holiday combines a classic hill station with quieter forest getaways and the holy towns of the Ganges. You drive from Delhi through Dehradun, with stops at Robber's Cave or Sahastradhara, before reaching Mussoorie.
A full day in Mussoorie covers Kempty Falls, Gun Hill, Company Garden and Mall Road. The next day you head to Dhanaulti, a calm town of deodar forests, eco parks and the Surkanda Devi Temple trek. On the way back to Delhi you visit Rishikesh's bridges and ghats and end with Haridwar.
