This classic hill holiday starts and ends in Chandigarh, making it easy to reach by train or air. You drive up to Shimla, the old summer capital, and spend a day at Kufri, Jakhu Temple, the Ridge and Mall Road.
Then you travel along the Beas via Mandi and Kullu to Manali, stopping at a shawl factory and riverside viewpoints. In Manali you visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisht and the Tibetan monastery, and spend a day at Solang Valley for paragliding, ropeway or snow, before the drive back to Chandigarh.
