The journey
Discover your next journey.
This is the classic Spiti circuit ride, done the right way round for gradual acclimatisation. An overnight Volvo from Delhi drops you near Aut, from where you ride to the quiet riverside village of Gushaini in Tirthan Valley.
The route then climbs through Kinnaur to Chitkul, the last village before the Tibet border, and on to Kalpa with its views of the Kinner Kailash range. You ride past Nako lake and the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery into Kaza, then spend a day around Key Monastery, Hikkim, Komic and Langza. The final stretch takes you to Chandratal lake and over Kunzum Pass and the Atal Tunnel down to Manali, with time for Old Manali cafés before the bus back to Delhi.
You can ride your own bike or rent one with us; fuel and a backup vehicle are covered on the biking option.
Starting price: ₹28,999 per person. Pickup and drop: Delhi.
