See three regions of Vietnam in less than a week. You begin in Hanoi with a half-day city tour that includes an hour-long cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Next comes a day trip to Halong Bay with a lunch cruise among its limestone islands.

A short flight takes you to Da Nang on the central coast, with a free day for the beach. The highlight here is Ba Na Hills, reached by one of the world's longest cable cars, where the Golden Bridge is held up by two giant stone hands. You then fly to Ho Chi Minh City for a free day before heading home.

Your day-by-day itinerary

01Day 1: Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi – City Tour

Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour with Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature and a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

02Day 2: Day 2: Halong Bay Lunch Cruise

Drive to Halong Bay for a cruise among limestone islands with lunch on board. Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

03Day 3: Day 3: Hanoi to Da Nang

Fly to Da Nang and check in. Rest of the day free at My Khe beach. Overnight in Da Nang.

04Day 4: Day 4: Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge

Full-day tour to Ba Na Hills by cable car to walk the Golden Bridge and explore the French Village. Overnight in Da Nang.

05Day 5: Day 5: Da Nang to Saigon

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Day at leisure for markets and food streets. Overnight in Saigon.

06Day 6: Day 6: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
