This holiday adds a taste of Azerbaijan's wine country to the classic Baku sights. On day two you drive west to Shamakhi, home of the historic Juma Mosque and the Diri Baba mausoleum, and stop at a local winery for a tasting.

Over the next days you visit the Ateshgah Fire Temple, spend a day among the peaks at Shahdag, take a full guided tour of Baku's old and new city, and finish with Gobustan's Stone Age petroglyphs and bubbling mud volcanoes.
