This week-long tour adds Coorg, the 'Scotland of India', to the classic Mysore and Ooty circuit. You start in Mysore with the palace, Chamundi Hill and Brindavan Gardens.

Next you drive to Coorg (Kodagu), a land of coffee and spice plantations. Sightseeing covers Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat, the Dubare elephant camp and the golden Tibetan monastery at Bylakuppe. From Coorg you continue to Ooty, with time for the lake and gardens, followed by a day in Ooty and Coonoor for Doddabetta Peak, tea estates and Dolphin's Nose. The tour ends in Bangalore or Coimbatore.

Drive to Coorg, visiting the Bylakuppe Tibetan monastery. Overnight in Coorg.

04Day 4: Day 4: Coorg Sightseeing

Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat, Dubare elephant camp and a coffee estate. Overnight in Coorg.

05Day 5: Day 5: Coorg to Ooty

Drive to Ooty and visit Ooty Lake. Overnight in Ooty.
