This pilgrimage links some of South India's holiest sites with a refreshing hill stop and the southern coast. You begin in Madurai with the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, then head up to Kodaikanal for two nights of lakes, forests and cool air.
Next comes Rameswaram, one of the Char Dham, where you visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple with its famous corridors, Dhanushkodi and the Pamban Bridge. The journey continues to Kanyakumari at India's southern tip for the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and sunrise over three seas, and ends in Kerala with Kovalam and the Poovar estuary before your drop in Trivandrum.

Drive to Kanyakumari for sunset at the confluence of seas. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

Sunrise, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, then drive to Kovalam. Overnight in Kovalam.
08Day 8: Day 8: Kovalam, Poovar – Departure
Boat ride at Poovar and drop at Trivandrum airport or station.
