With eight days, this tour covers the Eastern Himalaya at a comfortable pace in your own vehicle. You start in Darjeeling with Tiger Hill sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, the zoo and a tea estate.

Next comes Gangtok and a trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Then you head north to Lachung, stopping at waterfalls on the way, and spend a day in the Yumthang Valley with its river, hot springs and spring flowers (Zero Point optional). You return to Gangtok for a final night before departure.

Pickup from Bagdogra/NJP and drive to Darjeeling. Overnight in Darjeeling.

02Day 2: Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Tiger Hill sunrise, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, zoo and tea estate. Overnight in Darjeeling.

03Day 3: Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok

Drive to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.

04Day 4: Day 4: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Overnight in Gangtok.

05Day 5: Day 5: Gangtok to Lachung

Drive north to Lachung via waterfalls. Overnight in Lachung.

06Day 6: Day 6: Yumthang Valley Excursion

Visit Yumthang Valley; optional Zero Point. Overnight in Lachung.

07Day 7: Day 7: Return to Gangtok

Drive back to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.
